The Youth Group has always been an active presence in Adams! They are advised by volunteer youth group leaders and the pastor plays a role in planning as well. Parents are very supportive of the Youth Group and are always willing to drive/chaperon/plan events.
Recent mission trips have included Winnipeg (2004), Operation Christmas Child (2006), YouthWorks to Minneapolis (2008), ELCA Youth Gathering (2009), and Minneapolis (2010). Throughout the year, the youth group has lock-ins, get-togethers, and service trips. The youth group serves a monthly meal after church for the whole community. The meal is prepared and served by youth and their families and the free-will offering supports the activities of the youth group. The photo is taken at Catholic Charities Food Pantry in Minneapolis.
